Charnae LaLuzerne, is a dedicated Student Intern Therapist with a strong background in education and a passion for supporting individuals through personal and emotional challenges. She holds two master’s degrees in education and is currently completing a third master’s in clinical mental health counseling to earn her LPC-IT, with the goal of becoming a fully licensed professional counselor (LPC). She brings a holistic lens and valuable insight into adolescent development, learning differences, and systemic factors that impact mental health.

With more than a decade of experience working with teenagers, women, adults, couples, and families, Charnae focuses on helping clients build on their strengths, navigate challenges, and create positive change in their lives. She is particularly interested in narrative therapy, solution-focused therapy, and motivational interviewing, approaches that encourage clients to explore their personal stories, develop resilience, and move toward meaningful goals. Charnae is passionate about the connections between mental health and neurodivergence, recognizing and valuing the strengths that each individual brings to their own unique journey. Her approach is collaborative and client-centered, focused on creating a safe, empathetic, and supportive environment where clients feel empowered to grow.

Outside of her professional role, she enjoys reading, facilitating writing workshops, spending time in nature, gathering around campfires, visiting the beach, and exploring her eclectic taste in music.

Selena practices under the direct supervision of Brittany Berkovitz, LPC.
